Pumpa Engineering is Lusty Australia!

Lusty Australia was purchased by Pumpa Engineering in 1993.

Pumpa Engineering Pty Ltd commenced operation around 1980 in Swan Hill and was started by Tony Pumpa. The emphasis initially was on the manufacture and repair of agricultural equipment. The purchase of Lusty Australia enabled Pumpa Engineering to expand it's range of products to include the manufacture of semi trailers.

In 1998 Pumpa Engineering built an new factory of 2200 square metres and a further 1200 square metres was added in 2004. In 2007 a second building was added for the repair and alteration of semi trailers.

In 2002 and 2003 Pumpa Engineering began exporting specially designed aluminium trailers to South Africa.

Lusty Australia trailers are renowned throughout Australia for their quality and reliability. Pumpa Engineering customers are return customers, who enjoy great follow up service.

We are a multicultural employer, employing people from our indigenous community, Africa, Middle East adn from other countries that have settled in Australia.

Pumpa Engineering has over 45 employees in the areas of Sales, Purchasing, Qualified Painters, Tradespeople, Foremen and Apprentices.
